Black money, which was a trump card used by the party during the Lok Sabha polls, is now all set to haunt the Modi government in Parliament with the opposition parties — Trinamool Congress, Janata Dal(U), JD(U), RJD and the Samajwadi Party— uniting to corner the BJP-led government on the second day of Parliament's Winter Session. Despite the government hoping to set the ball rolling on key reforms, the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 12 noon following the protests over the issue of black money today.

The Trinamool Congress and JD (U) staged a protest outside Parliament today over black money issue and accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of not fulfilling his electoral promise of bringing back the black money stashed abroad to India within 100 days of coming to power.
