The Bharatiya Janata Party’s stupendous performance in two states where its presence was shaky at best until recently seems to have thrown up a possible solution to the eight-month Delhi deadlock.
Brimming with confidence after the declaration of results on Sunday, leaders of the party said fresh polls would be the best prospect for Delhiites.
Hitherto the BJP, the single-largest party in the current Assembly, had maintained that it would consider forming the government in Delhi if invited by Lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung.
