After a brief lull, Pakistani troops violated ceasefire twice today and resorted to heavy firing and mortar shelling targeting 10 Indian forward posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district injuring one woman.


"Pakistani troops resorted to heavy weaponry firing and mortar shelling on nearly 10 forward posts along LoC in two sectors of Saujian and Mandi in Poonch district from 1800 hours this evening", a Senior Army officer told , adding in all there were two ceasefire violations today.
