While winding up the Bharatiya Janata Party's campaign for the state elections in Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a rally in Thane accused the Congress and the NCP of looting Maharashtra and destroying its economy.

"Did anyone imagine that a state that leads economy of the nation, can also be destroyed? But look at the power of Congress and NCP," said the PM on Sunday

Monday is the last day of campaigning for the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra and Haryana. Maharashtra has been a special focus of both the BJP and the Congress. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed rallies in Borivali, Thane, Loha, Tuljapur and Pandharpur. Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi also campaigned in Nagpur and Buldhana.
