Supply cut after Singh refused to vacate government resident

Power and water supplies were cut off to former union minister Ajit Singh government residence here on Saturday after he refused to vacate the bungalow following his defeat in the Lok Sabha elections.
The house has been allotted to Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, who has been staying in a private guest house.
Singh is currently residing at his Tughlaq Road house. According to a report, he was served an eviction notice in July.
