M K Stalin wanted to project himself as 2016 CM candidate
  • 5 years ago
Taking a leaf out of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's book, DMK chief M Karunanidhi's son and party treasurer M K Stalin, on Saturday launched his cyber initiative for better connectivity with cadres and youth ahead of the 2016 assembly elections.

Given that DMK's online presence was very little during the Lok Sabha campaign, he has revamped his website to make it more interactive with features like Stalin connect, feedback, complaints and invite for an event. The site has English and Tamil sections. Observers point out that both father and son are active online nowadays to counter the strong criticism against the party in the digital media.
