Non- bailable warrant issued against Pakistan protestor Tahir-ul- Qadri
  • 5 years ago
Pakistan's anti-terrorism Judge Ittefaq Abbasi on Friday announced the order and asked Qadri and the activists to appear in court on 5th September.

The court had already issued an arrest warrant for Qadri on 22nd August and 20th August, but police could not arrest him as he was leading a sit-in in Islamabad.

Qadri and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan began their protests for the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on 15th August, who they accuse of rigging the 2013 general election.
