Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday said that he was a “Hitler” and had no problems with being one.
Referring to the upcoming Intensive Household Survey, he said that it was meant to root out bogus beneficiaries of government schemes and was not intended at identifying Seemandhra people or troubling any one; and if this meant that he was a “Hitler”, then so be it.
“I will be a Hitler to those who do wrong things. I will be more than Hitler for those who siphon public money or grab government lands. The survey is being done to identify bogus beneficiaries and if it amounts to being Hitler, I don’t mind it or feel shy about it,” Mr Rao said while addressing a press conference at his camp office on Sunday.
