Allahabad: Local Congress leader Mohammad Aslam pitches for Rahul Gandhi

The clamour for Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to officially join the Congress has resulted in poster politics that's causing deep embarrassment to the party. In a span of one week, Allahabad has seen two sets of conflicting posters. In one, party men have exhorted Priyanka to assume responsibility in the Congress, while another poster at a prominent square on Monday advised her to "mind her home".

Local Congressman Mohammed Aslam put up Rahul's poster on Monday that read, "Ab chalegi Rahul ki andhi, Rahul Gandhi hai doosra Mahatma Gandhi', and 'Priyanka samhalo grahasthi ki kamaan, Rahul samhalo Congress ki kamaan' (Rahul will storm the nation; he is the second Mahatma. Priyanka mind the house, leave Congress's command to Rahul).
