Family of Sourabh Choudhury asked for CBI probe on his death

Politics around the murder of 22 year old boy Sourabh Choudhury in the North 24 Paraganas has begun with various leaders from political parties visiting the family members of the deceased. However no Trinamool Congress leader has visited the house yet. BJP leader PC Sorkar (Junior), BJP state president Rahul Singh, a representative group of leader from SFI and DYFI visited the family since the morning of July 6. But when Congress leader RIju Ghoshal went to meet the family, he had to face the ire of the local people for politicising the issue.
The family of the deceased asked for a CBI investoigation as they think the main accused SHyamal Karmakar is linked to the ruling party and therefore they cannot trust the local police. Zee News reportd a TMC leader told the local reporters that the CBI could not be asked to probe a "trifling matter" when it has other cases on their hands.
