Sonia Gandhi asks Gogoi to resolve crisis

Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi today met top AICC leaders in New Delhi to find ways to resolve dissidence in the Congress Legislature Party. The party has put the onus on him to resolve the crisis in the state unit.

Congress sources said Gogoi met party vice-president Rahul Gandhi, senior party leader Motilal Vora and the party's Assam in-charge, C.P. Joshi, this afternoon to chalk out a deal between the pro and anti-Gogoi MLAs.
