SC to consider Srinivasan's fresh plea today

N Srinivasan has appealed to the Supreme Court to modify its orders that asked him to stand aside as BCCI president for the duration of the investigation into alleged corruption in the IPL. In his appeal Srinivasan sought his restoration at the helm of the BCCI's non-IPL affairs while allowing Sunil Gavaskar to handle the IPL.
The matter is expected to come up on Thursday before Justice Balbir Singh Chauhan, who will decide if the court wants to hear the petition on a later date or if it wants to dispose of it.
