War of credit over Mullaperiyar Dam

The Tamil Nadu government should immediately act on the Supreme Court verdict on the Mullaperiyar dam issue, said DMK chief M Karunanidhi on Thursday.
Replying to a statement issued by chief minister J Jayalalithaa on the verdict on Wednesday, Karunanidhi listed various measures taken by the DMK when it was in power as well as while in the opposition, including its efforts in 2006 to get the Supreme Court stay the Kerala government's legislation which annulled an apex court judgment on the issue.
