Actor-turned-politician Vinod Khanna, BJP candidate from Gurdaspur Lok Sabha constituency, on Thursday accused the Congress-led UPA government of meting out "step-motherly" treatment to Punjab.

Recently BJP member and actor Vinod Khanna spoke in Modi's favor of declaring him the PM candidate.

He also launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, saying it does not even deserve to sit in the opposition on account of various scams.
