India Debates: What is it about Modi that makes Bollywood take sides?

Modi has divided Bollywood into two camps. Salman Khan's father and director Madhur Bhandarkar bat for Modi while Mahesh Bhatt, Nandita Das and several directors have signed an appeal to not vote for Narendra Modi. This is the first time in Bollywood that a group has come together to issue a joint appeal, urging people to vote for the 'secular' party, which has the chances to win in their constituency.
