Narendra Modi ally meter vs post-poll calculus

The alliance may remain intact, but the face off between BJP leader Narendra Modi and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu continues to grow by the day.
Naidu has been insisting for long that Modi should share the public meeting dais with him while campaigning in Andhra Pradesh. However, the BJP has made it clear that their prime ministerial candidate wants his road shows to be a solo affair. Accordingly, Modi is now scheduled to tour the state on April 22 and address two public meetings in Karimnagar and Nizamabad respectively. But in order to accommodate Naidu, the BJP has agreed for a NDA show the same day at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad where apart from the TDP chief, leaders from the other allies like Shiromani Akali Dal, Shiv Sena and Lok Janshakti Party will share the platform.
