One dead, 12 injured in Mumbai train mishap

A local train in Mumbai derailed on Thursday leading to the death of one commuter and 12 were injured. The accident took place at around 2.39 pm near Titwala station at the train bound for Mumbai CST from Kasara (N-18). According to reports, four coaches of the of the ill-fated train derailed minutes after it left Titwala railway station towards Ambivali and Kalyan. The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals. According to report, the deceased has been identified as 38-yesr old Dhawal Lodha.
