The Crime Branch CID of the Tamil Nadu police on Tuesday re-examined hotelier Vikram Agarwal, allegedly involved in the IPL betting scandal. Investigators said a summons was issued to Chennai Super King's Gurunath Meiyappan. Kitty alias Utham Jain and other bookies have already been grilled.

"The re-examination of the suspects was necessitated by the findings of the Mudgal Committee and the allegations made by Superintendent of Police Sampathkumar. We have examined Vikram Agarwal, Kitty and others. The process will be completed in a day or two," a top CB-CID official
