The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Monday ruled out merger with the Congress but kept the option of forging 'alliances' open. In what can only be a blow to the Congress, by stating 'alliances' the TRS was clearly hinting that it would explore the option of a seat-sharing pact not only with the Congress, but also the BJP and the Third Front.
