Humanity blinded at Rahul Gandhi's door

Arjuna award winner in Athletics, Ram Karan Singh lost his eyesight due to Police brutality.
The 23-year-old athlete was partially visually challenged. He was a part of the protest against issuance of an ordinance on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Bill.
The people protesting were a part of All India Disabilities Alliance. They were protesting outside Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi's residence when the police stepped in to evict them. They wanted to meet Rahul Gandhi and convey their message to the President requesting him not to sign the ordinance on Rights of Persons with Disabilities Bill as is being planned by the UPA government.
