Tamil Nadu police have sent summons to Vindoo Dara Singh and Meiyappan

In the latest development in the IPL match-fixing case, the Tamil Nadu Crime Branch-Criminal Investigation Department (CB-CID) on Friday issued fresh summons to accused Gurunath Meiyappan, Vindoo Dara Singh and hotelier Vikram Aggarwal.
The CB-CID notice to all accused was sent shortly after the Tamil Nadu government suspended senior police officer G Sampath Kumar -- who had earlier probed IPL betting case before it was handed over to CB-CID, for allegedly receiving money from a bookie.
