Telangana Bill passed in Lok sabha

Its a huge victory for the people of Telangana. India is all set to have its 29th state as the Lok Sabha has passed the Telangana bill by voice vote.
Chaos was the order of the day as several MPs tried to disrupt the proceedings. The bill will now move to the upper house Rajya Sabha tomorrow for clearance.
The govt has received a lot of flak for the manner in which the bill was passed in the parliament. While, the BJP supported the Cong for the passage of the bill, at the same time slammed the govt for how it was cleared.
