2012 Chhawla rape case: Delhi Court orders death penalty to all accused

Arguing that the 2012 Chhawla gang rape and murder case falls in the rarest of rare category, Delhi Police on Monday sought death penalty for all the three convicts for brutally killing the 19-year-old girl whose decomposed body was found in a Haryana village.
Additional public prosecutor Satwinder Kaur told the court that there is no chance of reformation of the convicts -Rahul (27), Ravi (23) and Vinod (23) - as they have not shown any remorse during the trial of the case. "The convicts should be hanged to death as their offence falls under the category of the rare of rarest," the prosecutor submitted.
