Biman Bose-led Left Front will hold a rally at Brigade Parade Ground in West Bengal to counter Trinamool Congress on Sunday.
The Left Front rally is being held within days after TMC supremo and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee addressed a rally on January 30 and Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's rally on February 2.
Earlier, Bose had accused Mamata of being a dictator on the name of democracy. He had said that the state government had refused permission to the Left Front for arranging for the overnight stay of its supporters at the Salt Lake Stadium.
He also showed apprehensions that Left Front supporters may face coercion with TMC and also demanded the administration to ensure that the supporters are not targeted.
