If one believes Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray, his father and late Shiv Sena patriarch Bal Thackeray did not bequeath any share of his property to the family of his eldest son Bindumadhav and Jaidev.
Bindumadhav had died in a road mishap in 1996.
But, estranged elder brother Jaidev Thackeray moved court against Uddhav Thackeray over control of property and assets worth several crores. Late Bal Thackeray's second son Jaidev has questioned the veracity of the will.
Jaidev has challenged that they will being presented as his father's couldn't have been signed by his father, late Bal Thackeray, since he was very weak in his last days.
