A day after chief minister J Jayalalithaa ordered the release of 179 Sri Lankan fishermen lodged in Tamil Nadu prisons, Sri Lanka reciprocated by agreeing to release Indian fishermen in its custody, provided Lankan fishermen in Andhra Pradesh jails were also freed.
