Shankersinh Vaghela said that Ahmed Patel will not win the Gujarat RS polls. 43 Congress MLAs voted in favour of Congress in Gujarat RS polls. 1 of the Congress MLAs, Karam Singh crossvoted in Gujarat Rajya Sabha polls. Gujarat Rajya Sabha elections voting started for 9 seats. 3 seats are for Gujarat while 6 are for Bengal for the Rajya Sabha elections which are taking place today. Amit Shah and Smriti Irani are the nominees from Gujarat Congress. Shankersinh Vaghela did not vote for Ahmed Patel.
