BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has on Saturday slammed Attorny General G E Vahanvati a day after the he endorsed the central government's proposal for a presidential reference for removal of justice A. K. Ganguly as head of West Bengal Human Rights Commission. Remember, the law ministry and the home ministry were already in agreement that prima facie a case can be made out against the former Supreme Court judge.Swamy on Saturday alleged that the AG was simply working on the behest of the government to target Ganguly. Swamy said the fact that the victim was avoiding a police inquiry and had not lodged an FIR was enough to raise suspicion on the motive of the complain.
