J&K: Militants attack CRPF vehicle near Pantha Chowk; 1 jawan killed, 2 injured

One Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan was martyred after militants opened fire at their vehicle in Srinagar’s Pantha Chowk area on Saturday. According to reports, militants opened fire on a CRPF patrol party, injuring two jawans.

“A sub-inspector in 29th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force was killed and two troopers were injured when militants attacked a patrol party in Pantha Chowk area on the outskirts of the capital city near Delhi Public School,” a police officer said.
