The Union Government should not take a policy decision to impart training to Sri Lankan Forces, said Union Shipping Minister G.K. Vasan at Chennai on Thursday. Speaking after inaugurating a male ward at the Port Trust Hospital, Mr Vasan said that the Union government is not in a position to compromise with Sri Lanka on its stand.
