Amidst reports of his arrest, Tarun Tejpal has sent a letter to crime branch at Dona Paula, in Panaji, to seek more time to appear before it.

In the letter to Crime Branch police inspector Sunita Sawant, Tejpal writes he needs two more days to respond to the police summons.

Mentioning he would appear before it on Saturday afternoon, Tejpal's letter to Goa Police vows his readiness to cooperate in investigation.
