Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi had tasked a top state BJP leader to turn two key witnesses in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh encounter case hostile to help his trusted minister and close aide Amit Shah, according to a hitherto unknown testimony of Gujarat IPS officer GL Singhal made to the CBI.
