The Aam Aadmi party is going through the most challenging phase of its nascent existence. In just the last ten days its principle claim that its frame work is constructed from a moral fibre different from that of other political parties has been severely tested.


The loose talk that threatened to cast its rhetoric in a crass light, a sting operation that questioned its incorruptibility and an alleged hate speech that suggests that it is no stranger to employing the divisive rhetoric that is the political lingua franca of its adversaries suggests that the AAP is not above transgressing the moral lakshman rekha it has drawn around itself. The question is not so much that it has been hit by controversy, the question is how it responds to the questions it is asked.
