Andar Ki Baat: Row over sale of soil in Bihar owned by a firm headed by Lalu Prasad Yadav's sons
  • 5 years ago
RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav has landed in a controversy following reports that soil from land owned by his family was sold to Bihar government's Forest Department bypassing the tender process.

Lalu’s family holds a big piece of land on Patna's outskirts where a mall is being constructed by a private builder who also happens to be a RJD MLA. Lalu's children Tej Pratap, Tejaswi Yadav and Chanda Yadav are directors of company which holds the land.

The BJP has lashed out at Tej Pratap and demanded a detailed investigation.
