Andar ki Baat: Exit polls predict significant seat for Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab

With nearly all Exit Polls predicting a stupendous performance by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab, Arvind Kejriwal's party's national ambitions have got a perfect start. The AAP, which is making its political debut outside Delhi in this Assembly Election, has projected itself as a 'clean' alternative to the Corruption-ridden Shiromani Akali Dal. In rally after rally, Arvind Kejriwal and his party have accused the ruling government and the Congress government of working together to stop the Aam Aadmi Party from coming to power in Punjab. The party said if voted to power it will fight the drug menace and rampant corruption in the political and bureaucratic circles of the state and put an end to farmer suicides. The party is also likely to get a considerable number of seats in Goa where too it makes its political debut. However, unlike Punjab where the party did not announce any candidate as its chief ministerial candidate, the party has been confident about its candidates in Goa and has also announced Elvis Gomes as its chief ministerial candidate. Similar to Delhi, the party has raised the issue of corruption and honest politics in Goa and the youth in the state have been reported to be in the favour of the party.
