Parliament Budget Session: Hope to see breakthrough on GST, says PM Narendra Modi

Following a washed out first session, the second leg of the budget session of parliament kick-started today in today in New Delhi.

The first leg of the budget was thronged by the opposition lamenting the Modi government for their demonetisation drive.

The government will be hoping not to repeat the flop show and garner enough support to successfully pave way for the Goods and Services Tax (GST) to be rolled out by July this year.

The Finance Bill, Enemy Property bill is also expected to be raised during the second leg of the session that will continue till April 12.
