India Debate- Is the 3rd front bonded more by ambition than ideology?

Call it a mirage or call it a vision of the future, but the third front is back in the nation's parlance. Desperate at becoming increasingly irrelevant politically, the Left held a convention of 'like-minded secular parties' today, in an attempt to set the stage yet again for a 3rd front. But will it materialise into any viable political alternative?
