I promise to give 24×7 electricity in Varanasi: PM Narendra Modi

After leading a mega Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) road show in Varanasi today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday addressed a rally in town hall area in the city.
Addressing his supporters in Varanasi, PM Modi said, “Kashi is not just a city, it is a symbol of humanity. Our effort is to build an Uttam Kashi.”
“Have made Kashi my ‘Karya Kshetra’ so that we can regain the pride of the region: PM Modi in Varanasi,” the Prime Minister added.
“I promise to give 24X7 electricity in the city,” PM Modi said.
Attacking the present Samajwadi Party (SP) government in the state, the Prime Minister said, “They spread lies about 24×7 power supply. But during their temple visit today, there was power outage.”
However, hitting out the Prime Minister, Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha said, “BJP is leading in UP and I feel PM Modi shouldn’t have done roadshow in Varanasi, it’s just an assembly election.”
