Uttar Pradesh will vote in the sixth phase of the ongoing Assembly elections 2017 on March 4. A total of 635 candidates from different parties including the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Samajwadi Party (SP) are in fray in this phase. Around 1.72 crore voters, including 94.60 lakh male and 77.84 lakh female, will exercise their franchise by contributing in the second last phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2017. The campaigning for the sixth phase came to a halt on Monday around 5 pm as per the orders of the Election Commission.
