The Secular Convention on Wednesday is not meant to forge electoral alliances or to launch a Third Front.
The Left parties decided to organise the convention after the Muzaffarnagar riots and communal tension following Sangh Parivar's Ayodhya March. After RSS hoisted Narendra Modi's as BJP's PM candidate, there is a design to whip up communal tension before elections.
