JDU's Sharad Yadav puts votes above honour of women

Amid the already politically heated atmosphere ahead of the election season, Janata Dal United (JDU) leader Shared Yadav on Wednesday drew flak over a comment that he made while addressing a gathering in Patna.
Comparing the importance of a vote then women's image, Sharad Yadav said, “The value of a vote has a greater importance than the value of one’s daughter image.
"A vote's honour is more important than Women's. Loss of a vote is grave then loss of women's honour," Sharad Yadav said.
