NewsX : Telangana Crisis- NDMA VC tells Naidu, Jagan to end fast in view of cyclone

National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) wants fasting leaders from Andhra Pradesh to call of their strike on humanitarian grounds as their state is likely to be hit by a cyclone.

NDMA Vice Chairman M Shashidhar Reddy has written to TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to suspend their fast for at least 15 days in view of the approaching cyclone Phailin. Shashidhar himself is an MLA from Andhra and is the son of former state CM M Chenna Reddy.
