NewsX: 13 Andhra Pradesh districts crippled by power employees strike

Hyderabad: The indefinite strike by some 70,000 power sector employees in the Seemandhra region to protest against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh could impact the Southern electricity grid if it is not resolved in the next couple of days.
The strike, which has crippled 13 districts in Seemandhra for the past two days, has affected even Railway services in the region. Even the temple town of Tirumala saw a drastic fall in number of pilgrims during its Bramhostavam celebrations that started on Saturday.
