N Srinivasan was today restrained from assuming the charge of BCCI President, if elected to the post, by the Supreme Court which allowed the Board to hold its proposed Annual General Meeting scheduled for Sunday.
The bench took strong exception to Srinivasan still holding charge of BCCI when his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan has been charge sheeted in connection with the IPL spot-fixing case.
