While the US has shown no sign of altering its stand on the visa policy for the Gujarat Chief Minister, who is now the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi has decided to reach out to the Non Residential Indians (NRIs) via a video conference call from his official residence in Gandhinagar on Sunday in an attempt to realise his Mission 272+. The event, organised by Overseas Friends of BJP (OSFBJP) at Tampa in Florida on the occasion of the Annual National Convention of the group, is to take place at 6.30pm Indian Standard Time. The OFBJP-USA annual convention is scheduled to begin on September 20 and continue till September 22 in Tampa. Delegates from across the US are expected to attend the event at the local India Community Center (ICC) in Tampa, Florida. The speech will be telecast live on TV Asia across USA, Canada, Europe, and India.
