Delhi hit-and-run case: Accused driver arrested by police

In an unfortunate incident, a 32-year man was run over by a mini goods carrier on Wednesday in Subhash Nagar, West Delhi. The accused driver of the goods carrier has been arrested by Delhi Police.
Further disclosing the matter, Pushpendra Kumar, Deputy Commissioner said that the accused has been identified as Rajesh Kumar Gupta, a milk supplier in Amul. The accused has been booked under sections 279 (rash driving) and 304 (Punishment for culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
