Mumbai: Man breaks ATM machine after failing to get salary, arrested

The Shanti Nagar police in Bhiwandi arrested a 31-year-old man for allegedly trying to break an ATM machine to steal cash from it. Police said Siddharth Jagtap, who works as a driver at a water tanker, was upset over non-payment of salary. On Wednesday morning, he visited an Axis Bank ATM, situated in the Gayatri Nagar area, in a drunken state and damaged it to steal cash, but failed to get money.
