Muzzafarnagar Riots : Akhilesh Yadav to visit clash hit areas

More than two weeks after riots erupted in Muzzafarnagar, Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav has finally decided to visit the affected areas. He is expected in the riot-ravaged town today.
The state govt has been severely indicted for being a mute spectator and by some for being partisan. To make matters worse SP leaders including Mulayam Singh have been indulging in blame game and offering lip service. The police have not even arrested those political leaders named in the FIR. If compared with proactive measures taken to ban Kosi Yatra, state govt's double standard gets highlighted.
