NewsX : Taliban denies responsibility of murdering Sushmita Banerjee

Taliban have denied responsibility for the death of an Indian author Susmita Banerjee, who was shot dead in Afghanistan. Reports suggest that her body is still in Afghanistan.

News of her death cast a gloom in West Bengal. Family members of Susmita have said that they are yet to be contacted by her husband. They have contacted External Affairs Ministry to get her body. Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid has described the killing as unfortunate.
