NewsX Debate : Fuel crisis to worsen in the days to come

With nearly 6 months to go for polls government is fighting against time to settle the economic crisis. In its desperate measure to curtail the import bill Oil Minister kickstarted a controversy saying that government is mulling a proposal to shut petrol stations at night. The suggestion was slammed by all with questions being raised if government is facing an idea deficit crisis.

So yet another idea.. this time from Veerappa Moily.. the oil minister very hastily junked by his own PM and his party colleagues but teh merit of the idea is not what we are going to discuss tonight. I think the PMO statement suffciently says whatever there is to say about teh feasibility of the plan. what i do want to focus on tonight is the potential crisis situation looming over India and there has been a lot of press about how teh govt has failed completely in arresting the decline. But i want to highlight tonight, What teh govt managers have been saying and nobody seems to be listening to them. Why are we where we are. What did we do wrong and what is teh outlook for teh future.
